number of Acts, Orders and Regulations have been compiled here,
including information on the Windfall Profit Levy & the WTO
Valuation Agreement. Explanatory notes have been provided on some
of the selected legislations, which are in common use, such as the
concept of LMWs, Public Bonded Warehouses, Duty Free Shops, Excise
Duty, Classification of goods, valuation of Goods, Service Tax,
Free Zones, and the ATA carnets. The notes are very general. Further details, should be sought from the respective divisions or branches in the Customs Department. The addresses and faxes are mentioned in the explanatory notes. |
